How it works

How your plan works

Add your coursework, choose your goal, and see the next classes supported by your selected path.

  1. 1. Add your classes

Connect Canvas, upload a transcript, or select classes. You confirm the record before it affects your plan.

  2. 2. Choose your path

Select a college, destination, major, and agreement year. You can compare supported paths using the same coursework.

  3. 3. Plan what’s next

See what counts, the exact classes still recommended, and any question that needs review.

Where plan answers come from

DegreeLume compares your confirmed academic record with published college, university, and transfer requirements. Each plan links to the sources and dates used for that selected path.

Requirements that the available source does not settle remain marked for review. They are never silently counted as complete or missing.

How transcript review works

Upload or paste your transcript, review the proposed course matches, and confirm the rows that belong in your record. Photos and scanned documents require your approval before an external transcription service is used.

Your confirmed coursework is what reaches the plan. The original document is not kept as part of the plan.

What a readiness signal means

Labels such as Almost there and Competitive summarize the coursework and published checks currently supported by your record. Open questions stay beside that signal so you know what can still change it.

No label promises admission, degree clearance, or a course offering. Confirm final enrollment and application choices with your counselor and the institution.

What’s covered today

23 community colleges can start source-backed plans. Detailed planning is available for 31 UC / CSU destinations (9 UC and 22 CSU) across 13 modeled transfer majors.

Coverage is specific to the sending college, destination, major, and agreement year. A plan shows exact recommended classes where its agreement supports them and identifies the affected requirement when more review is needed.

When you see the word “guarantee”

We never promise admission. Associate Degrees for Transfer are formal CSU programs with their own published terms. Read the official information at adegreewithaguarantee.com and confirm your path with a counselor.

Using the plan with a counselor

Bring the cited requirements checklist, remaining-class plan, admission-context summary, and open questions to your appointment. The counselor can focus on exceptions and decisions that require institutional judgment.

Transfer agreements can also be checked directly on ASSIST.org.

DegreeLume is a planning aid, not an official degree or admission decision. Confirm important choices with your college counselor.
